We revealed at the weekend that BMW were planning a special edition M5 to celebrate 30 years of the M5 and. as expected, BMW has now revealed the 30 Jahre M5 (30 years of the M5). As expected, the 30 year M5 gets a tweaked version of the 4.4 litre twin-turbo V8 found in the regular M5, but builds on the M5 Competition Package model by throwing an extra 25bhp in to the mix for a total of 592bhp (600PS).
The new Jaguar XF Sportbrake is heading in to Jaguar showrooms next month, but Scottish Jaguar dealers Taggarts are ahead of the game. In fact, the first XF Sportbrakes are due to turn up in dealer showrooms next month, but Taggarts Jaguar has jumped the pack a bit with a couple of special reveals of the XF Sportbrake for its customers – and prospective customers – ahead of that mid-November date. General Motors is recalling nearly 1.5 million Buick, Chevrolet, Oldsmobile and Pontiac mid-sized cars equipped with a 3.8-liter engine because an oil leak could start an engine fire. Under hard braking, engine oil could leak past a heat shield and drip on the exhaust manifold. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says that could start a small fire that could spread to a plastic spark plug wire guide and beyond.
